Batch Operations Engineer (Mainframe/Windows) – Remote – 3 months +

(Batch, Batches, Mainframe, Windows)

One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a Batch Operations Engineer (Mainframe/Windows).

For this role you can work fully remotely

Must have:

– Extensive experience in managing/supporting batch operations.
– Experience in various Mainframe/Windows based batch schedulers.
– Ability to work in highly collaborative agile environment.

Preferred to have

– Knowledge of Beta48/Beta92.

o Analyze the existing setup of batches.
o Setting up new agents (on AIX/Unix, Windows).
o Setting up new batches and update existing, using various Scripting technologies (.bat, PowerShell, etc.).
o Debugging.

– Experience in migrating applications and infrastructure.

Nice to have:

– Knowledge of Insurance domain
